Love Isn't Black or White, Wrong or Right

Life is like... writing a book. Only yu can decide how you want the story to end.

I've been having a rough past few days. Sometimes life can kick you in the butt when you least expect it, but no matter what you have to bounce back. I am learning that this week. So for those of you who occasionally stop by my little blog here I could really use some prayers. Thanks.

But onto other things, Auburn won this weekend. It wasn't a pretty win but a w is a w. Hopefully, they'll play much better against Miss. St. this weekend, but if not then we're going to get our butts kicked.

School is going well, but I'm having trouble focusing. I just cannot find the motivation to do my work. Only a few more months and then I'll be done with undergrad. It's crazy to think it's almost over.

Right now I'm reading a book called Generation Kill and it is amazing. It's about Recon Marines during the first of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I watched the HBO mini series first and loved it so much that I just had to read the book. I would recommend it to anyone who has any kind of interest at all in military history or military life overseas.

Life is like... riding a bike. The only time you don't have to make any effort is when you're going downhill.

Haven't updated in a while because I haven't had a computer to update from. Nothing much has happened other than I bought an iPad today! I'm ready excited about it to. I've wanted one for a long time and I finally got up the nerve to spend the money. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Tonight I had dinner with Kody at Mellow Mushroom. He just got back to Auburn for the semester and it was nice to catch up.

I'm really excited about starting classes again, but not about it being my last semester. I guess I finally have to grow up.

Football starts in less than a month!! Get excited!

Why?

 Tuesday, July 19, 2011

I spent Saturday and Sunday night in Phenix City with my family and when I came back to Auburn on Monday morning I found that my apartment had been robbed. It's a scary experience walking into a scene like that. Just knowing your stuff is gone and you're probably never going to see it again is enough to make a person sick.
Luckily, all they took were some electronics, my bookbag, my roommate's bucket of change and some fruit juice... yes I just said FRUIT JUICE!! What?! The electronics and my bookbag can easily be replaced, and most of the pictures from my camera were on Facebook, but sadly I never got around to posting the pictures of me and my dad from our trip to Kennedy Space Center for the space shuttle luanch two weeks ago so those are lost forever.
I just don't understand why people think it's ok from them to enter my home and take something that does not belong to them. GET A JOB and buy things like the rest of us!! It makes me so angry to think that they got away with it, yet I guess they didn't get away with much because almost everything they took was on it's last leg, including my computer, my Ipod, and my 20 inch TV. I've been needing to replce all of these things for a while and I finally have a reason too.

Le Tour de France

 Tuesday, July 5, 2011

Life is like... riding a bike. Once you've learned how to live you'll always know how to.

The Tour de France started on Saturday. I'm a huge fan of the tour and love everything about it.

My favorite rider is Andy Schleck.

I have a good feeling that this year is going to be his year. Keep your fingers crossed.

Failure Is Not An Option

Life is like... a tattoo. Once the impression is made it can never be fully erased.

I bought my final Auburn Football tickets a couple of days ago and it made that fact that I'm graduating soon seem that much more real. It's hard to believe that in less that 6 months I will be walking across that stage to receive my diploma. I will be 22 when I graduate and for some reason I feel as though it will be the year that defines the rest of my life.

I'm taking my father to see the final Space Shuttle Flight. I surprised him with the trip for Father's Day. He loves everything space related and he passed that love on to me. It's going to be such a great trip as long as the launch isn't canceled.

I got my LSAT scores in the mail yesterday. Not where I want my scores to be but definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. I have already begun to study for the next one in October. Since Auburn is playing South Carolina on the road that weekend it looks like I'll be taking it at University of South Carolina in the morning and then going to the game later that day. I'm just hoping it's a night game.

I'm reading the Lord of the Rings right now. It's great. If you have any interest in the movies at all I would highly recommend reading the books.

Sweet Summertime?

 Monday, June 13, 2011

Life is like... an unsolved mystery. You are never going to be able to know everything.

Sweet Summertime? Not so much for me. I have been incredibly busy with my classes, work, and other random things this summer. It's really starting to stress me out.
I did not do well on my test in World Lit or in International Relations. I'm not really sure how well my group did on our group project, but I seriously doubt we made a high A (which is what I really need). I really need to buckle down and focus on this last leg of the mini-mester. Finals are next Friday and I have begun to freak out already. I really need A's in these classes but I guess I could  live with a B. NOT a C though.

Took the LSAT last Monday and it was rough. I'm not expecting to do too well on it, but I will be able to take it again and hopefully improve.

On a happier note, Blake and I went to see Josh Groban in concert last Wednesday and it was fantastic. Honestly, I could watch him in concert every day and never get tired of him.

Check It Out

 Wednesday, June 1, 2011

Instead of studying for the LSAT I've been watching soldier homecoming videos all day.
If you've never seen the Welcome Home Blog then you should definitely go check it out right now. It's so great. I cry at almost every video. It makes me so happy to see the families reunited.
God Bless Our Troops.
