Failure Is Not An Option

 Wednesday, June 29, 2011

Life is like... a tattoo. Once the impression is made it can never be fully erased.

I bought my final Auburn Football tickets a couple of days ago and it made that fact that I'm graduating soon seem that much more real. It's hard to believe that in less that 6 months I will be walking across that stage to receive my diploma. I will be 22 when I graduate and for some reason I feel as though it will be the year that defines the rest of my life.

I'm taking my father to see the final Space Shuttle Flight. I surprised him with the trip for Father's Day. He loves everything space related and he passed that love on to me. It's going to be such a great trip as long as the launch isn't canceled.

I got my LSAT scores in the mail yesterday. Not where I want my scores to be but definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. I have already begun to study for the next one in October. Since Auburn is playing South Carolina on the road that weekend it looks like I'll be taking it at University of South Carolina in the morning and then going to the game later that day. I'm just hoping it's a night game.

I'm reading the Lord of the Rings right now. It's great. If you have any interest in the movies at all I would highly recommend reading the books.

Sweet Summertime?

 Monday, June 13, 2011

Life is like... an unsolved mystery. You are never going to be able to know everything.

Sweet Summertime? Not so much for me. I have been incredibly busy with my classes, work, and other random things this summer. It's really starting to stress me out.
I did not do well on my test in World Lit or in International Relations. I'm not really sure how well my group did on our group project, but I seriously doubt we made a high A (which is what I really need). I really need to buckle down and focus on this last leg of the mini-mester. Finals are next Friday and I have begun to freak out already. I really need A's in these classes but I guess I could  live with a B. NOT a C though.

Took the LSAT last Monday and it was rough. I'm not expecting to do too well on it, but I will be able to take it again and hopefully improve.

On a happier note, Blake and I went to see Josh Groban in concert last Wednesday and it was fantastic. Honestly, I could watch him in concert every day and never get tired of him.

Check It Out

 Wednesday, June 1, 2011

Instead of studying for the LSAT I've been watching soldier homecoming videos all day.
If you've never seen the Welcome Home Blog then you should definitely go check it out right now. It's so great. I cry at almost every video. It makes me so happy to see the families reunited.
God Bless Our Troops.
