So was I once myself a swinger of birches

Life is like coffee... it's much better when you have it your way.

Just a quick recap:

• Audrey's party was a whole lot of fun. I played beer pong with Trey Bush and we won 7 games straight. We were amazing. Audrey took a lot of funny pictures.
• My visit with Blake was fun. I liked his friends and I meant the man of my dreams...and his girlfriend of five years. But at least now I know guys like him actually exist.
• I started getting sick on Sunday and I was not pleased. Monday was the worst of it and Tuesday I started getting better. Monday and Tuesday I took some really long naps and put off work that I should have been doing, but oh well.
• I got back my test grade for American Foreign Policy on Monday. I made a C. Now that I know how the tests are set up I think I will do a lot better on the next one.
• I took a test in International Relations on Monday. I made an 81 on the in class portion and I turned in the take home portion today so maybe if I do well enough on it I can make an A on the test.
• This weekend all I want to do it relax but I know that's not possible. I'm taking a practice LSAT on Sunday,I have an extra credit assignment due Monday, a test in Scuba on Tuesday and a paper for World Lit due Wednesday. I'm not excited. It's going to be a busy weekend, but hopefully I can find some time to just hang out with my friends.

In unrelated news, on Wednesday Auburn University released a statement says someone had purposefully poisoned Toomer's Oak Tree and they were not likely survive. Why someone would want to destroy something that is so loved by so many people is beyond me. It hasn't quite sunk in yet that the trees are dying because no one is sure how much longer they'll be around, but when the day comes that those trees are no longer there that will be a sad day indeed.
